Manuscript Critique
A concise critique of the major craft elements that span the manuscript as a whole.
Price: $500 / $650 / $800

Copy Edit
A professional edit to polish the readability of your manuscript, including grammar, punctuation, word usage, and general writing mechanics as outlined in The Chicago Manual of Style.
Price: $0.02 per word
Chapter Critique
A short critique of hand-picked scenes that still need that extra sparkle.
Price: $0.01 per word

In what order should I schedule my edits?
You always want to start with your story based edits—developmental edit, manuscript critique, or chapter critique. Copy editing is the last step once you've nailed down your story.
What are your prices based on?
All prices are based upon the industry standard rates set by the Editorial Freelancer's Association.
Do you accept payment plans?
Yes! Editing your book is an investment, but it doesn't have to break the bank too. I'm happy to build a payment plan that respects your budget.
What level of editing should I start with?
This depends on how confident you feel in your story. If you're looking for feedback at every chapter, you should start with a developmental edit. If you are only looking for big picture edits, start with a manuscript critique.
